An Alaskan Cruise Makes For An Unparalleled Travel Experience

For any type of traveler, business or personal, the length of the trip depends on the type of experiences that you will have. For anyone planning a vacation, as out there as it may sound, an Alaskan cruise is perfect.

One can always fly to Alaska, but a cruise is much more relaxing and enjoyable. You can start from California and dance around Juneau, Sitka, Skagway, Haines, Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park and Ketchikan.

Cruises are equipped with the comfort of a home and the luxury of a vacation. You can exercise in a gym, chill out in the spa, attend dances, formal dinners, gamble, watch movies, enjoy live shows, drink and dine. When you want to see the beauty of the cruise, peer over the ship and observe the whales, dolphins and sea lions that you pass.

On the ship, there is a plethora of international dishes to accompany any type of diet, including vegetarian, low calorie, diabetic and low carb. Once you have reached Alaska, you can stay at a luxury hotel. From there, you can plan your tours and activities. Try dog sledding, mountain hiking, rock climbing or site seeing.

Most Alaskan cruise ships will host around two thousand passengers. Smaller vessels carry around one hundred twenty passengers if you prefer a smaller crowd. Prices can range from 750$ -3000$ per night. If you are doing this for a special occasion, such as a wedding or birthday, sometimes the cruises will offer special rates or accommodations.

When planning your trip to Alaska, make sure to get your reservations ahead of time – especially if you are planning to go between May and September. Most likely, your cruise will depart from Los Angeles or San Francisco. Make sure that you know where you need to be and that you have clear directions from your Travel Agent. Also make sure that you allot enough time for side trips during your vacation.

An Alaskan cruise is simply breathtaking. You will experience nature like you have never seen it before with its beautiful animals, glaciers and scenes that you only see on T.V. There are many activities that will please all members of the family on both the cruise and the side trips. Alaska is a wonderful vacation.
